About Us
We did not build this site because Jenny Mod needed another download page. We built it because almost every existing page was getting it wrong.
Fake download buttons. APK files labelled as Java mods. Install guides that skipped the Java 8 requirement entirely. Pages confidently telling iPhone users to download an APK. We went through all of it, the same frustrating experience thousands of players hit every week, and decided to do something about it. jennymodmc.com exists to be the resource we wished existed when we first tried to install Jenny Mod ourselves.
Who We Are
We are a small team of Minecraft modding enthusiasts who have spent years testing mods, breaking installations, fixing them, and documenting what actually works. Nobody on this team is affiliated with Mojang, Microsoft, or the original Jenny Mod developer SlipperyTum. We are players, not publishers.
What we bring to this site is straightforward: real testing on real hardware, honest information about what each version of Jenny Mod can and cannot do, and zero tolerance for the fake download pages that have made this niche a minefield for players who just want a working mod file.
What We Test and How
Every file featured on jennymodmc.com goes through a standard verification process before it appears on the site. We test on clean Minecraft installations, no pre-installed mods, no altered game files. Our current Java test environment runs Forge 1.12.2 recommended build with Java 8u391 on Windows 11. Bedrock and MCPE files are tested on Android 11 and iOS 16 running Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.50.
If a file causes a crash, throws an error, or behaves differently from how we describe it, it does not get published. If something changes between updates, we go back and verify again.
We also document the errors. The troubleshooting sections throughout this site are not copied from forums; they come from installation attempts that failed, error messages we actually saw, and fixes we confirmed work on our test setups.
Why We Cover What We Cover
The Jenny Mod community asks the same questions in cycles. How do I install this? Why is it crashing? Is the CurseForge version real? Does it work on iPhone? Can I use it on Bedrock?
We cover those questions because they are genuinely unanswered elsewhere. Our guides exist to end the loop of bad information, not to generate clicks. When we say something works, it works. When we say something does not, we explain exactly why.
We also cover the safety questions honestly. Jenny Mod has a complicated reputation online because of its adult content option and the enormous ecosystem of fake download pages built around its search volume. We address both directly rather than glossing over them.
What You Will Always Find Here
A clean, tested download file in the correct format for your platform. An install guide that covers the edge cases, not just the happy path. Honest comparisons between versions. Real troubleshooting for real errors. And no fake buttons, no survey walls, no browser extension requirements, no redirect chains. That is the standard we hold ourselves to. If something on this site does not meet it, we want to know.
